Hip Hop, Turns & Leaps, Contemporary

Daniel Lopez, like many young boys started out with a love of sports (at the age of seven). During that time he stumbled upon  a group of dancers attending a summer camp by the Latin American Association. This started a passion that would forever change his life. Dance. Daniel first began as a Hip Hop freestyle dancer. He would later perform and choreograph for local events within the organization. He pursued more formal training which led him to Gotta Dance Atlanta, and Sean Freeman's Dream Big Dance (Pre Professional) Company. Daniel now trains in Hip Hop choreography, Contemporary Dance, Modern Dance, Jazz,  Ballet and other various style.  After graduating from the company, he immediately started his professional career performing with various Ballet Contemporary and Modern dance companies. Later on a major audition for a lead role was led by Director Billie Woodruff and Choreographer Jamaica Craft  for the movie “Honey: Rise Up” during the summer of 2017. He landed the role of “Bryce” where he acted and danced alongside Teyana Taylor. One thing led to another and received another role as a core dancer and student role in the upcoming YouTube Red series “Step Up: High Water” with Producers Adam Shankman and Channing Tatum. Daniel continues to perform on live stages around Atlanta including the Fox Theatre and Cobb Energy Center and currently working on season 2 of Step Up Highwater
