2018-2019 Twinkle Toes
Pre-Ballet/Tap Combination Classes for Girls and Boys ages 3 to Pre-K
Uniform Requirements

2018-2019 Ballet  
Classes for Grades 3rd-12th are divided by age and then level of experience.     
HOW TO SELECT YOUR LEVEL:    
Students new to ALL STARS must be evaluated for level 2+ classes. Please call to set-up an appointment for evaluation.
Returning students will be evaluated by their teacher.    

Please note:    
 • Students can be moved up or down based on their performance in class.   
• Students starting Oct 1st and later, will be required to take a private lesson to become familiar with the terminology and basic steps covered in previous classes.  This will allow them to feel more comfortable in class and have greater participation from  the start.   This initial private lesson is 30 minutes in duration, at a cost of $45. 
They may also be asked to join Ballet Prime Technique 1.

• Prime Technique classes are recommended to all students who wish to fast track their technique. These classes are offered as Prime Technique 1 for Beginner/Intermediate, and as Prime Technique 2 for Intermediate/Advanced.  
This is also the perfect class for dancers who wish to take Ballet technique in order to improve in their other technical classes such as Jazz, Contemporary, and Ballroom.

• Saturday Ballet Comprehensive is designed for dancers who wish to be on a professional track or  more seriously approach their Ballet training. This class includes  Ballet Barre, Center, Across the Floor, Pointe, Partnering & Variations.

2018-2019 Ballroom/Latin    
Classes for Grades 3rd-12th are divided by age (3rd-5th, 6th-8th & 9th-12th) and then level of experience.

Students new to ALL STARS must be evaluated for level 2+ classes. Please call to set-up an appointment for evaluation.

2018-2019 Bollywood     
Classes for Grades K-12th are divided by age (K-5th, 6th-12th) 
Bollywood dance is the dance-form used in the Indian films.  It is a mixture of numerous styles.  These styles include belly-dancing, kathak, Indian folk, Western popular, and "modern", jazz, and even Western urban dancing. ALL STARS is proud to have a wonderful Bollywood program that is well respected in the Indian community.  We have performed at multiple festivals and events, appeared on TV Asia, performed for the Indian Consulate and performed for the Ambassador of India.

Classes for grades 3rd-12th.

• Students starting Oct 1st and later, may be required to take a private lesson to become familiar with the terminology and basic steps covered in previous classes.  This will allow them to feel more comfortable in class and have greater participation from the start. This initial private lesson is 30 minutes in duration, at a cost of $45.

Classes for Grades K-12th are divided by age (K-2nd, 3rd-5th, 6th-12th) and then by level of experience.      
HOW TO SELECT YOUR LEVEL:

Returning students will be evaluated by their teacher.     
Please note:   
• Students can be moved up or down based on their performance in class.   

• Another style that falls under the blanket of Hip Hop is Urban Popping (also knows as Popping, Animation, Robotics, Electro Boogie, and Dubstep dancing).  It is not required, but is strongly suggested to also take Hip Hop classes when taking this class, and Belly Dancing is suggested for girls, given it provides awareness and skills in body isolations.

Classes for Grades 3rd-12th are divided by age (3rd-5th, 6th-12th) and then by level of experience.      
HOW TO SELECT YOUR LEVEL:     
Students new to ALL STARS must be evaluated for level 2+ classes. Please call to set-up an appointment for evaluation.  
Returning students will be evaluated by their teacher.

• It is not required, but is strongly suggested to take Ballet classes when taking Contemporary classes. As Ballet serves as a strong technical base and provide understanding and terminology used in Contemporary dance. Prime Technique classes are a great option for those students not interested in performing in Ballet, and only wanting to acquire the technique and skills it offers.

ALL STARS is proud to host fantastic workshops and Master Classes with greats such as
Bolshoi Ballet's Valery Lantratov, "Contemporary Eric" and Step Up 2's Robert Hoffman,
Usher's Cody Wiggins, From Flow 40: TV, Movie, and stage star, Nick Drago, and
Phoenix Ballet and Cirque du Soleil resident choreographer, Albert Cattaffi.

Workshops are open to all dancers in the Atlanta Area.

How to pick your level:  
Beg/Int: students must be age 8+, and must be currently taking ballet classes.

• Int/Adv: students must be age 10+, and must have taken a minimum of 2 hours of ballet training per week for the previous 2 years.
Pointe: students must be age 12+, and must have been training on pointe for a minimum of 2 years.
