Ballet, Jazz, Twinkle Toes

Julia Ballard began her dance training at age 9. She spent years training under Michael Garrison at NADA and at age 16 she was accepted into the Atlanta Ballet school's pre professional Elite division, with an awarded scholarship. During her time there, she performed the coveted role of Clara in the Atlanta Ballet's Nutcracker at the Fox Theatre.

She went on to dance professionally with the Georgia Ballet, Columbia City Ballet, and Montgomery Ballet, where she also taught at the Montgomery Ballet School's inner-city elementary dance program. She's also danced with North Atlanta Dance Theatre JUST FIRE Christian dance company, and she has 20 years of teaching experience from creative movement to advanced/pre-professional ballet.

Ms. Julia was formally faculty at ALL STARS, from 2012-2014 and has filled in throughout the years after. She is thrilled to be back at her ALL STARS home to share her joy of dance to new generations.
